Experience Sunrise on the Highest Mountain in Lower Austria

Travel to the highest mountain in Lower Austria before dawn and witness the breathtaking sunrise at Hochschneeberg. Enjoy the serenity of nature at an altitude of 1,800 meters, with a unique panoramic view stretching to the Vienna Basin and the Pannonian Plain. Afterwards, comfortably descend with the Salamander train to Baumgartner station, where a hearty mountain breakfast awaits you.

Itinerary & Included Services:

Ascent with the Salamander train to the Hochschneeberg mountain station (~ 40 minutes)
Experience sunrise at 1,800 meters above sea level (~ 60 minutes)
Descent with the Salamander train to Baumgartner station (~ 10 minutes)
Hearty mountain breakfast at Baumgartner station
Afterwards, you can choose: ascend again and spend your day on the Schneeberg, or take one of the early descents.

Booking Note: Tickets for the Alpine Sunrise are available until one day before departure at the latest. In case of sold-out quotas, tickets without breakfast may be available – please contact us by phone in this regard. The Schneeberg-Rax Combination Ticket, Lower Austria CARD, or similar discounts cannot be applied to this package offer.
